Fall fun times....

When I was growing up there were not all of the pumpkin patches, festivals and raspberry picking events that there are now.  I swear my kids have the life!!!

Most of our favorite apples had been picked out.  The orchard that we were at had put crates of some of the more popular apples out for us to help ourselves too.  Lizzy made sure to take her time picking out the perfect apples!

Annie could not get over the fact that it was okay to pick up the apples from the ground.  She kept saying "eeewwwww"

Doesn't this apple just look like it is begging to be picked.

I'm Queen of the Mountain!!

Getting her game face on.

Loading the ducky

Papa helps Annie with her ducky

Waiting for the right color duck to make it to the end so she can grab it and start again.

I didn't get her hand in the shot but the kids would fight over who got to use what color duck.  In her hand the coveted pink ducky.  She is running for all she is worth to start racing it again.

Papa is trying to talk Annie on to staying on the horse.  She was not thrilled about this experience.

We love Kuipers' Farm.  We have gone there for good time Fall family time for the past several years and ran, cold or heat we have never been disappointed.

What an improvement for Annie.  Last year she never would have gone up to that goat on her own to feed or brush it.  Now look at her!!

On the way out the girls were allowed to pick out one large pumpkin.  They also got about 25 small pumpkins and gourds to feed to our local squirrles.

Scrubbing the pumpkin off is big time fun!

A few weeks after going to Kuipers we went to another pumpkin patch/raspberry patch with my sister and her family.  There were animals, raspberries and some time to decorate pumpkins.

"It's okay Annie nothing scary here"

Unless you count Uncle Eric scaring the pants off of you scary.

LaoLao helped Annie find the perfect berries.

Ash actually found the most berries.

They were pretty picked over so we were looking for these little tiny berries in these thorny thickets.

Lizzy had her own way of picking she refused to use a bucket because......

......she preferred the pick and eat method of raspberry picking :)

Enjoying the hay ride

LaoLao and Papa out for a ride.  Papa's hat blew off and he had to go back with the drive after the ride to collect the hat.

Aren't we just the cutest love birds you ever did see?

Lounging and taking it easy while on the hay ride.

Ash is very serious about her pumpkin decorating
